Thank A Soldier

Today is Veteran’s Day.

It is a day to honor those who serve or have served our country, in war or peace. I have a deep respect for those who have served in our military.

And don’t just think of those old men with wrinkled skin and bald spots, because many veterans these days are young men and woman. My two youngest brothers—who are 25 and 28—have a purple heart and the bronze star.

No matter what your stance on war is, these brave men deserve our respect for endangering their lives to help others. Whether it’s you they helped, or a child without clean water to drink, thank a soldier.
